Right before 4th of July, an entire family of piggies ended up in a local shelter. The person who surrendered them stated he had medical issues of his own and couldn't care for them. They were very thin, covered in mite eggs and in early GI stasis. They were immediately taken to the vet for exams, x-rays and medications. Quarantine and treatments will take about 2 weeks, then these piggies will be ready to go! If you have lots of love and time to give these special piggies, please apply today.

All Guinea Pigs receive health exams through CARE prior to adoption. We feed high quality pellets, hay and assorted veggies and some fruits. We primarily use hay, aspen bedding or shredded paper (helps reduce allergens for those of us who suffer from allergies). We do not typically neuter Guinea Pigs, per our Vet's advice. We will only neuter ones who come to us already bonded and are of opposite sex.
