DISTINGUISHING TRAITS...

Deer has adorable ears that fold over which is unusual for a chihuahua and just add that much more character to her sweet face. When Deer is happy (which is a lot) she bounces around and her tail goes a mile-a-minute! She can barely contain herself at mealtime and does a cute little two step while her foster mom is preparing her meals. If the two step doesn't work for her, she'll do a little dance on her hind legs. One of the cutest things about Deer is that she has her own blankie that she likes to "arrange" before bedtime. So adorable!

Like many rescue dogs (and Chihuahuas) Deer would appreciate some understanding and space when she first meets someone. Deer isn't crate trained but she doesn't need to be because she has wonderful house manners and she's perfectly happy and well behaved with her blankie and a dog bed.
