Mitts and Cypress are a hoot.  Cypress LOVES food and will beg for it every chance she gets. One of her favorite things to do is to grab her own treats out of the bag and go and hide it and come right back for more.   Mitts is a little shyer than his sister but he is too stinking cute.

The rat is a fun, enjoyable, intelligent pet while also being fairly low maintainance at the same time.  The waste odor is much lower than most other small pets.  They are smart and you'll be surprised when they have you trained before you even realize it!  Cypress is a perfect example of this trait;)

The base diet is Oxbow Essentials Adult Rat Food , also known as Regal Rat, along with a variety of fruits, nuts, and fresh veggies.
