Reynolds (aka Carkey) is a smart little boy with a huge personality. We think he may be a Carkie (Cairn Terrier/Yorkshire Terrier mix). His previous mom loved him dearly, but had to surrender him due to a family medical emergency.
He is current on vaccines, heartworm, flea & tick prevention. He is crate trained, leash trained and partially housetrained. His mom was working on a minor guarding issue with him as well. Adopter must be willing to pick up on his training where she left off.
Reynolds comes with a transferrable pet insurance policy through Healthy Paws Pet Insurance. The policy runs $25/month (can change some based on your zip code). He is AKC registered to run Fast CAT in November in Union, SC if adopter would be interested. There's a huge group of people in the area who really enjoy this, and other dog sporting events, with their cherished dogs.
A completed adoption application and home visit are required for approval to adopt a CARE dog. Out of state adoptions okay. All dogs receive a distemper/parvovirus vaccine(s), kennel cough vaccine, rabies vaccine, dewormer, monthly heartworm prevention, flea & tick prevention and treatment if needed, microchip, and are spayed/neutered through CARE. Breeds and mixes are often our best guess, based on decades of experience.
