Meet Moonbeam!

Moonbeam is beautiful, loving, wiggly, energetic, playful, and acts like her assumed breed mix - Boston Terrier/French Bulldog! This girl is good with dogs, cats, kids, ducks. She is crate trained, house trained and leash trained. She can pull hard sometimes, so a harness is best.

Moonbeam loves to go on rides, play tug-o-war, and play with a variety of toys. She is still learning that humans are not play toys, so not ideal for small children at this time.

True to her breed, she can be a noisy girl. Not ideal for apartments! When we rescued Moonbeam, she was starving. We are working with her on food/treat aggression. She should be fed separate from other dogs and requires a slow feeder (or spread food out on crate pan). She has never shown any aggresion toward us when putting her food down, but she is still learning boundaries so best to crate her while you're eating too. LOL!

All basic vetting has been done. Tested heartworm negative, on prevention.

A completed adoption application and home visit are required for approval to adopt a CARE dog. Out of state adoptions okay. All dogs receive a distemper/parvovirus vaccine(s), kennel cough vaccine, rabies vaccine, dewormer, monthly heartworm prevention, flea & tick prevention and treatment if needed, microchip, and are spayed/neutered through CARE.
