Zuri is on the hunt for a forever family. Unfortunately, he's already had 2 families that didn't work out - through no fault of his own. From what we know, he was with both families for about 2 years and is now about 4 years old. In the 2nd home, he was well cared for, but they are moving overseas and are unable to take him.

Zuri's former name was Ginger, but we renamed him simply because we had too many Gingers over the years and it gets confusing on records. Like most pets, he's fine with it. ;-) This sweet boy had a lot of outdoor time, but unforunately that's incredibly unsafe for him. We keep Zuri strictly indoors and he has adapted quickly.

Zuri is adventerous, loving, smart, curious and social. If interested in adopting, email your application today!

Adoption Fee: $80.00

All rabbits receive an exam, dewormer, topical treatment for possible fleas, mites & heartworms, microchip, and are spayed/neutered through CARE. Each rabbit is fed high quality grass hays, fresh vegetables, some high quality pellets, and some fruits. NO vaccines are given at this time as it is not approved in the US. This day will come, so keep current with a quality rabbit vet and rabbit.org.

All of these expenses, often over months, cost a lot more than the adoption fee. Many vets charge $120 to $700 for rabbit neuters/spays alone. We are nonprofit and have to make up some of the costs through adoption fees in addition to accepting donations and fundraising.

Breeds are always our "best guess" based on experience, weight, vet sugestions, and other factors.
