Bristol is a very precious, loving and gentle soul. She deserves an amazing family where she can live out her golden years.
Bristol gets along great with dogs, kids and doesn't pay cats any attention (in her foster home). She can be protective of her food, but she was very thin when rescued. Slowly Bristol has regained weight and is looking great!
Bristol tested heartworm negative the first time, but positive on the senior blood panel. In all liklihood, she doesn't have a heavy worm burden and is considered stage 1. Bristol's best plan is to continue on doxycycline and heartworm prevention pills (provided by CARE). Her blood panel does show what you would expect with a senior, some wear on her organs, but nothing substantial at present.
