Little Firefly was found by a Good Samaritan and turned into our rescue. Now after getting all of her veterinary needs met and bonding her with a much needed ferret companion, she and Spike are ready for adoption! Both Firefly and Spike have also recieved a Suprelorin (deslorelin) implant to hopefully prevent adrenal disease, which unfortunetly is extremely common in ferrets. The Suprelorin (deslorelin) implant is good for about 18 months when being used as a preventative measure. Together, their adoption fee is $300.00. We are a nonprofit charity and the cost of their veterinary care is well over $300.00. All ferrets receive a veterinary exam, rabies vaccine, distemper vaccine, Revolution topical treatments (earmites, fleas), microchip, Suprelorin implant (as prevention), dewormer, and are spayed/neutered and descented. Some ferrets also receive bloodwork, ultrasound and radiographs.
